Leeds United travel to Cardiff on Tuesday night for a top of the table clash and should make three changes to their side to help them pick up three vital points.

The Championship leaders are fresh off the back of a 3-2 win over Ipswich and now turn their attention to a trip to third-placed Cardiff, who are only behind them on goal difference.

The Whites are locked together on 20 points from the opening nine league games with Wolves and Cardiff, but have the opportunity to open up a gap at the summit.

Thomas Christiansen should make three changes to his side following the narrow win over Ipswich on Saturday.

Conor Shaughnessy, Vurnon Anita and Pablo Hernandez should be the players dropped from the starting XI for the highly anticipated visit to Cardiff.

Defensive duo Shaughnessy and Anita should be axed, while attacker Hernandez has already shown he has a tendency to go missing in away matches.

The 32-year-old would be better as an impact substitute against Cardiff and may not have the full 90 minutes in him so soon after Ipswich.

This Is Futbol has selected the best possible XI that Leeds can field that is good enough to beat Cardiff in their own backyard.

Here is that team, including a 26-year-old that deserves a starting role after waiting patiently.
