Leeds produced an impressive performance to overcome Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening and there were plenty of positive to take away.

The Whites won 2-0 away at the City Ground and remain unbeaten from their first seven games under manager Thomas Christiansen.

Goals from Kemar Roofe and Ezgjan Alioski secured the three points which mean the Yorkshire giants are third in the Championship table going into the international break.

The Leeds defence will be particularly pleased with yet another shutout and a fourth consecutive clean sheet in the league.

They seem unfazed by the loss of £15million ace Chris Wood to Burnley and have looked in formidable form since his exit.

Recent £1.5million signing Jay-Roy Grot was given his debut against Forest off the bench and the physical striker looks like he could be a real handful.

This Is Futbol considers three talking points from Leeds’ win over Nottingham Forest, including how their 28-year-old proved he was a superb piece of transfer business in the summer.
