Leeds have confirmed the signing of Swedish striker Pawel Cibicki from Malmo on deadline day – and fans of the Yorkshire giants are delighted on Twitter.
The 23-year-old forward has been linked with a move to Elland Road over the past week and was even spotted signing a contract on Wednesday night.
This led to Leeds wasting no time in announcing the signing of Cibicki on deadline day with the club confirming via their official website and Twitter account at 10am their first signing of the day.

Cibicki joins after scoring 12 goals in 80 appearances in total for Malmo between 2013 and 2017.
He has become the club’s 14th signing of a busy summer for the second tier giants and fans on social media have welcomed him to Elland Road, while some sarcastically pointed out that they didn’t see it coming following all the reports.

Cibicki is the third striker to join Leeds this summer behind both Caleb Ekuban and Jay-Roy Grot with Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood departing Elland Road.
The Swedish forward has signed a contract until 2021 and both he and the fans will be hoping for success in the north of England.
