Wolves have turned their attention to signing Eunan O’Kane as they continue their extensive summer recruitment drive, according to HITC.
The sports site claim that the big-spending Championship club have set their sights on prising central midfielder O’Kane from Elland Road.
HITC cite Wolves sources as stating that they have lined up a move for the Republic of Ireland international and are prepared to test Leeds’ resolve to keep hold of him.
It is said that new Molineux manager Nuno regards O’Kane as a player who can help in their quest for promotion to the Premier League next season.
Wolves have already signed eight new players this summer, including a club-record £15.8million to sign Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves from Porto.
O’Kane had a mixed first season at Leeds after joining from Premier League club last summer on a two-year deal.
He made 26 appearances in all competitions but struggled to win back his place in central midfield alongside skipper Liam Bridcutt after missing nearly two months with a groin injury.
It remains to be seen if Leeds are willing to cash in on the 27-year-old after signing Poland international Mateusz Klich from FC Twente last month.
