Charlie Taylor will quit Leeds United to become a Burnley player by Saturday, according to a reliable journalist.
Burnley Express sports editor Chris Boden took to Twitter on Monday to deliver an update on the Premier League club’s bid to sign Taylor, who is out of contract at Elland Road at the end of this month.
Boden claimed on his personal Twitter account that Taylor will sign for Burnley as soon as his Leeds contract expires on Saturday and that the deal is now “done” after he agreed personal terms with Sean Dyche’s side.

However, the two clubs are still some way apart on agreeing a fee for the left-back, who is a free agent from 1 July.
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph reported last Thursday that Leeds are confident of securing over £5million for the 23-year-old were the fee to be settled by an independent commission.
Taylor is under 24 and a product of the Elland Road academy, which means Leeds are entitled to compensation from any club that signs him, with the fee to be decided by a tribunal if an an agreement cannot be reached.
It is now set to be the second major transfer negotiated by Leeds within days after they announced the signing of midfielder Mateusz Klich from FC Twente on Friday for a fee of around £1.5million.
Leeds offered a two-year contract to Taylor last month but that is the requirement if they are entitled to receive development costs and he will reject it with a view to sign for Burnley.
Dyche’s strong interest in Taylor comes after West Brom had held extensive talks on signing him but reports from the Midlands suggests they have pulled the plug on signing the Leeds 2015-16 player of the year.
