Highly-rated youngster Kundai Benyu became Celtic’s second summer signing when he completed his move to the club on Thursday.
The Scottish club announced on their official Twitter account and club website that the 19-year-old had put pen-to-paper on a four-year-deal at Parkhead, following the acquisition of winger Jonny Hayes.

An exciting young talent, Benyu operates as a box-to-box midfielder, and he will join up with his new Celtic team-mates at their pre-season training camp in Austria.
Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers has a preference for nurturing young talent in his squad, and Benyu will be the latest prospect to benefit from the tutelage of the former Liverpool chief.
His immediate role in the first-team setup remains to be seen, but his imminent arrival – the transfer will be officially completed on July 1 – could spell the end for a number of their current senior stars.
