Leeds owner and chairman Andrea Radrizzani has told fans that he can “understand frustration,” but the club will be meeting candidates this week.

The Yorkshire giants have been without a manager since May 25 when last summer appointment Garry Monk decided to resign from the club.

It caused a lot of unrest around the famous club’s support with many keen to see Leeds retain the services of the manager who led them to seventh place in the last campaign.

Now, while the club are still looking at for their next appointment Radrizzani reiterated to supporters via his personal Twitter account the importance of getting the decision correct as he plans to meet potential new managers this week.

Odds are ever-changing on who the next Leeds manager will be and at the time of Radrizani’s message on June 6 assistant Pep Clotet is the favourite at 9/4, while former Premier League bosses Alan Pardew and Claudio Ranieri trail close behind with odds of 3/1, according to Sky Bet.

Leeds fans are likely to be wanting a big name manager to replace Monk this summer, but the former Swansea boss himself was considered relatively inexperienced as he took over from Steve Evans last year.

However, supporters will also be keen to see this whole saga over with as they urge the club to end their long wait for Premier League football.
