Leeds fans have hailed former midfielder Lewis Cook once more on Twitter after his role in Monday’s England Under-20s World Cup victory over Mexico.
The 20-year-old midfielder departed the Yorkshire giants last summer for the Premier League with Bournemouth his destination.
Leeds supporters have been keen to follow his development and despite struggling to break into the Cherries’ first team he has played a key role in the Three Lions youngsters reach the semi-final stages of this summer’s World Cup.
Fans of the Whites praised Cook after his goal in the 1-1 group stage draw with Guinea and on Monday he played a fine pass to assist Dominic Solanke, whose goal proved the difference as England ran out a 1-o win over Mexico in the quarter-finals.

Cook played in just nine matches for the Bournemouth senior team in his debut campaign with injury impacting his season, while Jack Wilshere, Dan Gosling and Andrew Surman were also favoured in the centre of the park.
He will now be looking for more first team football next season, while Leeds themselves hope to make their return to the Premier League.
