Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has taken to social media to offer a big hint as to his future at the club this summer.

The pacy right-back, 22, has been linked heavily with a move to Catalan giants Barcelona, the club where he came through the youth academy before moving to North London.

On Wednesday, Spanish news outlet RAC1 claimed that a deal on personal terms had been agreed between the Spanish club and the 22-year-old full-back, although asserted they were yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal over the transfer.

However, the player himself appears to have quashed these rumours with a post on his official Twitter account on Thursday.

His cryptic message reads: “Don’t believe everything you read…” in a firm suggestion that he fully intends to remain at Arsenal.

Bellerin has established himself as Arsene Wenger’s first choice right-back, as well as one of the top defenders in the entirety of the Premier League.

He made 42 appearances across all competitions last season, including helping his side lift the FA Cup, and has gone on to earn three caps for the Spanish national side.

Sky Sports reported on their transfer blog (1:56pm) on their website on Wednesday that Arsenal were confident of keeping a hold of their star man, and this personal update from Bellerin will be music to Arsene Wenger’s ears.
