Leeds United are interested in Martyn Waghorn.

According to a report in the Daily Mail the Rangers striker is interesting a number of Championship clubs aware of a change of management at Ibrox.

Waghorn has been in and out of the Rangers side this season and is out of contract next summer after turning down the offer of an extension last summer following Rangers promotion to the Premiership.

With new boss Pedro Caixinha likely to be building his own side during the close season a quick decision will have to be made about the future of the 27-year-old striker.

Former Rangers boss Mark Warburton is expected to make a bid to take Waghorn to Nottingham Forest with Leeds anxious to bring in other options to support Chris Wood.

Waghorn who Leicester paid £3m for in 2010 has played for six English clubs and would have no problem adapting to the demands of playing in the Championship.
