According to reports from Sky Sports, Claudio Ranieri has admitted Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur target N’Golo Kante could leave Leicester City during the summer transfer window.
The France international has emerged as the most formidable enforcer in the Premier League since sealing an €8million transfer from Caen last summer, going on to average the second-most tackles, 4.4, and interceptions, 4.2 per match of any player in the division.

The 25-year-old’s performances at the heart of midfield have been intrinsic to the Foxes’ shock Premier League title bid but his future beyond the coming transfer window remains unclear. Chelsea were linked with a summer bid last month, whilst recent reports from Mirror Football have earmarked him as a transfer target for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur as well.
And worryingly for Leicester City fans, manager Claudio Ranieri has admitted he may be forced to cash in on Kante during the coming transfer window. As quoted by Sky Sports, he told reporters during today’s press conference; “I think he should rest [stay] here, he’s working very well.
“But if big teams arrive that will give us a lot of money, maybe we can think about it if he’s not happy here and wants to go. I don’t want sad people here – I want my players to be happy. There is a chance he could leave but our focus is on the pitch for the last seven matches. After that is another season.”
