Chelsea are already in ‘advanced‘ talks to bring the Netherlands international to Stamford Bridge this summer in a £24million transfer, with brother and agent Irchandley visiting the club’s Coban training complex last week, whilst recent reports have revealed incoming manager Pep Guardiola wants Manchester City to hijack the potential deal.
But Bazoer has been on Arsenal’s radar for nearly three years and it appears the Gunners are still a fixture in the race for his signature. Indeed, Mirror Football claim the Gunners have stepped up their scouting of the 6-foot centre-mid, with manager Arsene Wenger ‘ensuring’ the north London outfit have a representative at almost all of his matches.
That could see Arsenal weigh in with talks of their own before the summer transfer window opens, but Mirror Football also document interest from Juventus, Napoli and Borussia Dortmund.
