According to an exclusive from The Daily Star, Manchester United are ready to join Bayern Munich, PSG and Real Madrid in the race to sign unhappy Chelsea star Eden Hazard next summer.
Since picking up last season’s PFA Player of the Year award as the Blues claimed the Premier League title, the Belgium international has failed to score in 21 appearances across all competitions, whilst finding just two assists domestically.
Reports yesterday alleged the 24-year-old winger has already decided to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign, paving the way for a summer scrap between Bayern Munich, PSG and Real Madrid for his services.

But according to The Daily Star, Manchester United also want to make themselves a fixture in the race to sign Hazard – after discovering they have almost no chance of signing Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
They quote an unnamed source as saying; “The club has to be realistic and realise that signing Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo remains a long shot, which means alternative targets come into the equation. Eden Hazard is certainly one of those and the type of player United need if they want to start winning trophies again.”
The Red Devils are putting together a package that will include a £65million bid and a £250k per week contract. Chelsea, however, are believed to value Hazard at around £90million – and will likely expect an added premium for the displeasure of selling him to a direct Premier League rival.
