According to reports from Mirror Football this morning, Arsenal will revive their interest in Dynamo Moscow forward Aleksandar Kokorin in January, whilst Galatasaray are preparing a bid for Joel Campbell.

Kokorin, who scored for Russia against Algeria at last summer’s World Cup, comes highly-rated and boasts 45 goals in 193 appearances for Dynamo Moscow, 28 of which have come in his last 71 league outings.

The 24 year-old was linked with the Gunners, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur during the final days of the summer transfer window but a Premier League move failed to materialise.

According to Mirror Football, however, who cite Italian publication TuttoMercatoWeb, Arsenal have revived their interest in the 6 foot forward and he’s now at the top of Arsene Wenger’s January wishlist.

Perhaps related, perhaps not, the British newspaper also report rumours from Turkish news outlet Fanatik, who claim Galatasaray will launch a bid for Joel Campbell in the new year.

The Costa Rica international impressed at last summer’s World Cup and during a season-long loan with Olympiacos in 2013/14, but he’s managed just four league appearances and 13 across all competitions for his parent club.

It’s claimed 23 year-old will ‘be allowed to leave the club if an appropriate offer is made’ during the January transfer window.
