According to reports from The Express this morning, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted he could leave PSG this summer.

The iconic Swede boasts 106 goals in 126 appearances for the Parc de Princes outfit – including a return of 30 goals in 35 outings last season – firing them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

But last month it was revealed that PSG don’t intend to extend his contract past the end of next season; leading to crisis talks with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Doha and persistent rumours of an abrupt departure from the French capital.

Liverpool and Manchester United have both been mooted as potential suitors of the 33 year-old, who claimed the 2012 Puskas award for his sensational bicycle kick against England, and the odds of an Old Trafford move have been slashed since Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal revealed on Monday that the club are in talks with a ‘surprise‘ striker.

And Ibrahimovic, who has claimed league titles in the Eredivisie, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1, has added further fuel to speculation, telling reporters; “It’s important to do a good job now, to keep doing what we’re doing, working hard and preparing for the season ahead. Will I stay in Paris? My future is in the hands of [agent] Mino Raiola.”

Former club AC Milan, however, are still widely viewed as the favourites for his signature.
