According to reports from The Express this morning, PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed his next club will be a ‘very big surprise’.

The iconic Swede boasts 106 goals in 126 appearances for the Parc de Princes outfit, firing them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

But last month it was revealed that PSG don’t intend to extend his contract past the end of next season; leading to crisis talks with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Doha.

Liverpool and Manchester United have both been mooted as potential suitors of the 33 year-old. In fact, reports earlier this month alleged the Red Devils have offered the 2012 Puskas award-winner a three-year contract worth around £7million – after Zlatan claimed his “future is now in the hands of [agent] Mino Riaola.

And the 6 foot 5 centre-forward has now made another interesting claim – that his next transfer will come as a shock to the footballing world.

“Where I go next, it will be a surprise, a very big surprise,” he said after netting past United in PSG’s pre-season friendly.

But Ibrahimovic went on to hint that he’ll unlikely leave the French capital this summer. “I’m very happy at PSG,” he added.

“You don’t see that on the field? I have another year on my contract with PSG and I am very happy. Things are getting better. We are a strong team, we can do much more than we have been doing so at the moment but I am very happy.”
