According to reports from Sky Sports this morning, PSG manager Laurent Blanc has ruled out a summer move for star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The iconic Swede boasts 106 goals in 126 appearances for the Parc de Princes outfit – including a return of 30 goals in 35 outings last season – firing them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

Recent speculation has suggested 33 year-old’s Parisians tenure could come to an abrupt end this summer. Last month, it was revealed that PSG don’t intend to extend his contract past the end of next season; leading to crisis talks with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Doha.

Liverpool and Manchester United have both been mooted as potential suitors of the 6 foot 5 front-man, who boasts titles in the Eredivisie, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1, whilst Real Madrid entered the race for his signature last week.

But Laurent Blanc has now dismissed reports claiming Zlatan is on the verge of leaving the French champions.

Responding to rumours of a return to Inter Milan, the PSG boss said; “There was never any doubt of him staying. I don’t attach any importance to rumours. For us it was very clear: Ibra was always part of the 2015-2016 squad.”
