According to reports from The Daily Star and The Daily Mail, Arsenal are hoping to complete swoops for two long-term Manchester United targets.
The first, courtesy of The Star, is former Benfica centre-back Ezequiel Garay. He came close to an Old Trafford move in summer 2013 until then-manager David Moyes pulled the plug at the last minute.
The 28 year-old has since joined Zenit St. Petersburg instead but has already proved himself too superior in quality for the Russian top flight, convincing Arsenal to launch a £13million bid.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have also been linked with Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, who was on the verge of signing for the Red Devils last summer only for a recurring knee injury to stand in the way.
The Mail, citing Italian outlet La Stampa, claim Arsenal have agreed a £21million move for the Chile international, which would see him link up with compatriot Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates.
Currently, however, the north Londoners are yet to confirm their bids – or their interest – in either rumoured target.
