Ayoze Perez

According to reports from The Sun this morning, six clubs from the Premier League and La Liga are targeting Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez.

It’s been a turbulent season up on Tyneside but the prodigious Spaniard has emerged as one of the 2014/15 campaign’s real success stories, bagging seven goals in his first 39 Premier League appearances since joining the Magpies from Tenerife.

During his spell with the Spanish second tier outfit, the 21 year-old bagged 17 goals in 50 appearances and was resultantly handed the division’s Breakthrough Player of the Year and the Best Attacking Midfielder awards for the 2013/14 season.

And the ease in which the Spain U21 has acclimatised to the English game hasn’t gone unnoticed. According to The Sun, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all weighing up summer bids for the £15million-rated forward.

Returning to his homeland, however, remains an option for Perez, with Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia also courting his services.
