According to a monthly report from CIES Football Observatory, Liverpool star Raheem Sterling is European football’s fourth-likeliest player to be involved in a paid transfer this summer. 

The England international’s Anfield future has been cast in serious doubt over the last few months, in no small part due to renegade agent Aidy Ward claiming Sterling wouldn’t extend his Liverpool contract past 2017 ‘even for £900k per week’ – as This Is Futbol revealed last month.

In May, five top European clubs – namely, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Manchester United – were all believed to be targeting the £50million-rated winger, as reported by This Is Futbol, whilst Rafa Benitez’ Real Madrid have since emerged as rival candidates for his signature.

And that widespread interest has seen Sterling ascend to fourth in the Football Observatory’s list of the 100 players from Europe’s leading five top flights most likely to be involved in a paid transfer this summer. Here’s a look at the top ten:
