According to recent reports in the tabloids, Robin van Persie’s short but relatively successful Manchester United tenure could be coming to an abrupt end this summer.
The former Arsenal star fired the Red Devils to a Premier League title in 2012/13, but having since struggled with continuous injuries and occasional bouts of dire form, and now 31 years of age, the Old Trafford outfit appear ready to trade him in for a younger model.
