Leeds United have had an eye on the Netherlands winger Noa Lang who is now expected to land a move to the Premier League.

This is according to the journalist Dean Jones who has been speaking to GiveMeSport about the future of the 23-year-old ahead of the winter window.

Jones has already suggested the Yorkshire club will be one of the clubs who will look at Lang as a potential option next month as they aim to boost their hopes of Premier League survival.

First up, which of these World Cup debutants could Leeds go back in for this winter?

And it is believed it could take a bid in the region of £30m to prise the 23-year-old away from Belgium where he still has over two years on his deal.

But Jones is convinced Leeds need to act quickly if they are intent on bringing Lang to Elland Road in the January window:

“Noa Lang’s going to land in the Premier League before too long. I mean, he’s definitely been looked at various times by various clubs, and Leeds probably need to make their move more concrete soon if they’re going to be the team that actually land him.”

TIF Thoughts on Jones’ comments…

Lang has endured a difficult 2022/23 campaign so far by his own standards with just two goals and two assists to his name in the Belgian top flight.

Would Lang improve Marsch's Leeds?

Yes

Yes

No

No

However, last season he returned 19 goal involvements in the league alone which shows just what he could potentially bring to Elland Road.

But with Leeds in the delicate league position they are currently in, we think Leeds need to land a player who will improve their XI – not potentially improve them.

And with Lang’s struggles this season and off-field issues, we are not exactly convinced he is a sure choice.
