Presenter ExWHUemployee has revealed West Ham United are trying to sign a couple of young Brazilian players in the near future.

In recent times, the Premier League club have made some pretty notable moves in the transfer market. For instance, in the summer they spent a club-record £51m fee to land Lucas Paqueta from Lyon.

It looks as though the next ploy for West Ham, however, is to try and target some less-known talents – although they have retained an interest in players from the same part of the World.

Indeed, according to Ex, head of recruitment Rob Newman has been in Brazil, where Paqueta is also from, in an attempt to sign a few South Americans to London.

Talking on The West Ham Way podcast, the presenter explained (14:05): “Rob Newman went to Brazil, so we’re going to be linked with Brazilian players for a while now, afterwards.

“We are trying to get a couple over the line, young Brazilian players to develop.”
