Tottenham Hotspur star Deja Kulusevski may have just provided a potential injury hint on Instagram ahead of Spurs’ upcoming Champions League clash.
Antonio Conte’s men return to action on Wednesday night with their final home game of the Champions League group stages against Sporting CP.
It has been a testing week for the Italian and all those at Spurs having tasted back-to-back Premier League defeats against Manchester United and Newcastle United.
And it is apparent Conte’s attacking options are being stretched with Kulusevski having been sidelined since his return from international duty.
Just as the winger returned to training following his hamstring issue, the Swede suffered a setback which has the Italian manager concerned about a lengthy return.
However, there may now be a glimmer of hope for Spurs fans after Kulusevski offered a cryptic message on Instagram.
TIF Thoughts on Kulusevski’s post…
We think all Spurs fans will be hoping there is a positive to be taken from this post with the Swede’s absence being felt at the club with the lack of form from Son Heung-min.
Has Kulusevski become more important than Son?
Yes
No
Since arriving at Spurs back in January, Kulusevski has quickly become one of the Premier League’s brightest young attacking prospects.
In just 29 appearances for the club, the 22-year-old has already been able to provide a return of 17 goal involvements proving he has been an instant impact since signing (via Transfermarkt).
Richarlison’s start to life in north London has proven to be a steady one with no goals in the Premier League but with the Brazilian also injured, Kulusevski’s return feels more important than ever.
