Journalist Ryan Taylor has claimed that Everton are one of the clubs that remain interested in Armando Broja in this summer transfer window.

According to The Athletic, Armando Broja is someone who has remained on the list of forwards that Everton are interested in this summer, and a report from the MailOnline has claimed that the Albanian forward will cost the Toffees £30m if they want to sign him.

Broja has been on the radar of several Premier League clubs this summer, including Newcastle United and West Ham United, but the Hammers turned their attention elsewhere and opted to bring in Gianluca Scamacca instead.

Although Everton have continued their interest in Broja this summer, Taylor spoke to GiveMeSport and claimed that Chelsea do not want to sell their 20-year-old forward in this transfer window.

“Real Madrid made an enquiry, Newcastle and Everton remain interested, but at the moment, Chelsea are blocking his exit.

“We saw that they received a sizeable offer from West Ham for him, £30m, that’s a good fee. But they don’t want to sell. That’s why West Ham moved on to Gianluca Scamacca,” Taylor said.

TIF Thoughts on Taylor’s comments…

The Toffees are in desperate need of, attacking options this summer, after Richarlison parted ways with the club to join Tottenham Hotspur and now Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a doubt for the opening fixtures of the season due to injury.

However, with Romelu Lukaku heading on loan to Inter Milan and Timo Werner linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel might be inclined to keep the Albanian at the club for the upcoming season.

If this is the case, and Chelsea refuse to budge on Broja, then Everton might find themselves in a difficult situation as they only have Solomon Rondon as a fit striker in their squad, so they might have to venture away from the 20-year-old to ensure that they can definitely get a forward in the door.
