Tottenham Hotspur may look to make two more signings before the transfer window shuts this summer.

That is according to journalist Dean Jones, who was speaking to GiveMeSport about Spurs’ potential transfer business in the final week of the transfer window.

The Lilywhites completed most of their business early on in the summer, with Antonio Conte welcoming eight new faces to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium so far this transfer window.

However, the club are prepared to make more moves before the transfer deadline on 1st September, though there are no obvious targets as of yet.

Wolves winger Adama Traoré had been linked with a move to Spurs last summer and last January, but 90min has reported that Wolves are pricing the north London side out of a move for the winger again this summer.

However, Jones still thinks it’s very possible that the club could welcome two more additions to Conte’s side this summer, after being informed to look out for the club’s business in the last week of the market.

He said: “A few options that Tottenham are starting to look at, at the moment.

“But we always knew that this would happen.

“Tottenham got their business done early and I was always told ‘look out for the last week, they’ll look to do two deals, Tottenham always do’.

“So let’s see who those guys end up being.”

TIF Thoughts on Jones’ comments…

We believe that Spurs fans will be excited to hear that their transfer business is not necessarily over for the summer as of yet.

We think that Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy will already be happy with the transfer business they have conducted so far, as they seem to have improved the spine of the team with a number of smart additions across the board this summer.

However, we think that Spurs may lay claim to have had an almost perfect transfer window if the club can bring two more top-quality additions this summer.
