Dan Kilpatrick has been speaking on The Spurs Web’s Twitter Space about two key positions Tottenham Hotspur may still look to improve.

It has been well reported that Tottenham and Antonio Conte have some players that are no longer in his plans and thus, need to find new clubs at least in the immediate future, including Harry Winks, Bryan Gil and Japhet Tanganga.

The latter two have not been part of the banished quartet that aren’t training with the Spurs first team, however, neither Gil nor Tanganga have yet featured this season under Conte so their futures appear to lie away from the club, at least for this season.

Therefore, Kilpatrick believes that centre back and on the wing could still be upgraded this summer, if those two mentioned above were to leave.

(13:00) “Certainly with Gil and Tanganga I think Spurs recognise that they can upgrade those positions, but Tanganga is probably keener to go and play first-team football somewhere than Spurs are to lose a decent player who can kind of back up all three positions in the back three or certainly the wide centre back positions pretty well.

Would you like Spurs to sign Chalobah?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

“I think there is definitely interest from Forrest, he’d like to go to AC Milan I think his agent is Italian and he’s been in Italy offering him to clubs there.

“So, again, it could happen, but Spurs would need to get someone in to replace him, particularly as no one came in to replace Rodon.”

TIF Thoughts on Spurs’ remaining transfer business…

While it appears that Tottenham have enjoyed a rather successful transfer window thus far, they are still not too many injuries away from struggling for squad depth and options once again and the scare of Cristian Romero sustaining a muscle injury just last week may have increased their desire to either keep Tanganga or find a replacement asap.

How well do you know where these Spurs signings came from? Take our quiz to find out! Firstly, where did Dimitar Berbatov arrive from?

The Evening Standard have recently reported that Spurs have lodged an enquiry for Trevoh Chalobah which could perhaps free up Tanganga to secure a move away to either Nottingham Forest or AC Milan and pick up some valuable minutes.
