Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch was left fuming and holding his hands in the air after Marc Roca gave the ball away carelessly during the club’s recent match.

During the Premier League this weekend, the Whites took on Brighton and Hove Albion away from home. Having just defeated Chelsea 3-0 at Elland Road last time out, Marsch’s men would have come into this game full of confidence.

However, they were playing a Brighton team in fine from that have already beaten Manchester United and West Ham United this term, so it was never going to be an easy match.

And Leeds certainly weren’t at their best in the first half of the game, with the home side having the better of it. And it seems as though this left Marsch frustrated, as highlighted in one incident.

Indeed, journalist Phil Hay took to Twitter to explain what he saw, noting that Roca’s poor pass to Rodrigo provoke a rather bemused reaction from his manager.

He wrote: “Marsch holds his hands in the air as Roca aims a pass to Rodrigo, misses him completely and Brighton surge into the box. Kristensen’s turn to clear the danger this time. 0-0 on 39 mins.”

According to SofaScore, Roca also picked up a yellow card, and lost the ball nine times before being dragged off before the hour mark. Evidently, Marsch wasn’t most upset with what the player had done on the one occasion where he failed to pick out Rodrigo.

In fact, it seems as though the Leeds man was pretty furious throughout that first 45 minutes of the game. Indeed, journalist Joe Donnohue noted that the American was ‘living dangerously in the technical area’ and had to be warned of his behaviour by the fourth official.

Despite going unbeaten in their opening three games of the Premier League season, Marsch clearly isn’t getting complacent. Judging from his reaction to Roca’s misplaced pass, he’s still demanding the highest standards from his players.

Don’t worry. Even of he managed to find Rodrigo it would have been the same as passing to a Brighton player. He wad Old Rodrigo…back to his usual self….completely useless

The Leeds board members instructing Orta to avoid furthe signings are entirely to blame.
Practically every Leeds fans worth his salt has been screaming out for a new striker and left back since last season. A couple of capable and experienced players in the positions would strengthen the team. However the headless chickens with the transfer fund are ignoring us again.
If good old boy Marsch has any dignity he should jump on ole Orta’s back and ride that sucker down to Transferville and get some dog gone ringers for the team.
