Fabrizio Romano has dropped a very positive update on Harry Kane’s Tottenham Hotspur future while speaking on his YouTube channel.

This time last year, talk was rife about Kane’s future and it appeared rather likely that he would be leaving Tottenham, with Manchester City even lodging a £100m bid that was rejected by Daniel Levy.

However, 12 months on, Kane appears settled at Spurs, and they are now managed by a serial winner in the form of Antonio Conte, while he is also set to take part in the Champions League for the first time since the 2019/20 season.

However, that hasn’t stopped talk of a potential exit within the media, although Romano has swiftly dismissed these claims.

He said: “I wanted to mention Harry Kane, because we had rumours of Harry Kane as a potential replacement of Lewandowski for Bayern. They are big fans of Harry Kane internally at Bayern.

“But at the same point, Harry Kane is not on the market this summer, it’s impossible for Harry Kane to leave Tottenham, because Tottenham wants to keep him and the player is really happy with the new project, with Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici especially.

“Paratici did an incredible job for Harry Kane in the last months to change the situation around him with Antonio Conte as the new manager.

Will Kane finish his season at Spurs?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

“Conte is doing an incredible job with Harry Kane and to rebuild Tottenham. Now they have a different team, many signings and Harry Kane will be part of the project.

“So Kane, this summer, if nothing crazy happens, is not joining Bayern and is absolutely staying at Tottenham because he’s considered absolutely untouchable.”

TIF Thoughts on Kane’s future…

It would be absolute insanity if Spurs and Levy were to sell Kane this summer after making a very impressive start to the transfer window by backing Conte and also having Champions League football on offer.

The talk of Kane replacing Lewandowski also depends on the Polish striker leaving the Bundesliga, although the strongest links appear to involve Barcelona – a club in crippling debt but still seemingly set to splash out £60m on Raphinha. Therefore, Spurs fans will not likely have to stress over Kane’s future, unlike this time last year.
