Insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that rumours linking Jarrod Bowen with a move away from West Ham United are simply not true.

In recent times, Arsenal have been reported to be keen on a move for the winger over a possible summer transfer, while there is talk that other clubs, such as Liverpool, could also seek a deal over the coming months.

Despite all these rumours, it seems as though the West Ham man will most likely be staying exactly where he is for the time being, if the latest claims are to be believed.

Indeed, while talking about the player on The West Ham Way Patreon page, Ex claimed that the Hammers will not be selling Bowen unless they receive an incredible bid for him.

He explained: “We do not believe there is any truth in Bowen leaving this summer. Unless a ridiculous offer is made, then he shall remain, and the player appears to be thinking along those lines judging by his recent comments.”

Will Jarrod Bowen be at West Ham in two years' time?

TIF Thoughts on Jarrod Bowen and West Ham…

What will please West Ham fans most about this update is the fact that Ex claims the player seems to be at peace with the idea of staying unless a crazy bid comes in – which suggests he isn’t angling for a move away from the club just yet.

To be fair, Bowen has enjoyed a fine past season with the Hammers, scoring 18 goals while also adding 13 assists along the way. That sort of form was seen him become an England international, and with the 2022 World Cup on the horizon, he may not want to disrupt his chances of featuring at a major international tournament.

West Ham United fans, who were these players sold to? Starting with Felipe Anderson

All in all, for those who want Bowen at West Ham next season – which will be all Hammers fans, most likely – it looks as though their wishes will become reality. Even so, it does sound as if there is the slight chance that a ‘ridiculous offer’ could come in from the likes of Arsenal or Liverpool to change all that, so their bank balance should receive a substantial boost in a worst-case scenario.
