The paperwork for Cristian Romero’s permanent signing at Tottenham Hotspur has already been signed, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romero initially joined Spurs on a loan deal from Atalanta, however, speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano has claimed the Argentine will be playing in North London next season.

The 24-year-old has made 20 appearances in the Premier League this season and has become a mainstay under Antonio Conte since returning from his long-term injury issue.
With the Lilywhites still battling away for a spot in the top four, Romero’s addition to the squad has been viewed as a huge success.
On the weekend, even when the majority of the players underperformed, the Argentine maintained his usual levels and Romano issued an exciting update for Spurs fans ahead of the summer:
(2:00) “This boy, Cristian Romero, will be a Tottenham player for the future. There is absolutely no doubt as Antonio Conte even mentioned a few weeks ago in a press conference, Tottenham have the obligation to buy clause, the mandatory buy clause, for Cristian Romero.
“And they are super happy about it because Tottenham will pay around €50m/€55m (£42m/£46m) to Atalanta for Cristian Romero, but they are 100% convinced they signed a fantastic centre-back for the present and the future.
“A real leader, a player with a big potential, with many skills that he can improve in the coming years. And so Cristian Romero will be an investment for Tottenham in the coming months and it will be 100% confirmed but it’s already signed on the contract.”

We think this news will please just about every Spurs fan out there with Romero showing the potential to become an outstanding centre-back in the Premier League.
However, with Romero’s future now believed to be tied down in North London, fans will be hoping the club can now add to their defence in the summer.
It is believed Conte has his target set on finding a left-sided centre-back in the summer and if they can find a player of Romero’s quality then we think they will be in good stead for the new campaign.
