Journalist Ryan McGinlay has slammed Sky Sports for their coverage of Celtic’s recent win.

Over the weekend, goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota helped the Bhoys claim a ‘nervy’ win over Ross County away from home. As a result, they now move six points clear at the top of the table and likely would have been delighted about this at full time.

However, the exact manner of those possible celebrations remain unclear as Sky Sports seemingly opted to cut away from the action after the final whistle had blown.

Indeed, McGinlay pointed this out on Twitter and went as far as to say the broadcaster did it deliberately. He wrote: “Sky knew what they were doing there with regards to their coverage. Missed all of the post-match celebrations after a massive result.”

TIF thoughts on Celtic and Sky Sports…
Incidentally, this is not the first time Sky Sports have been criticised for their coverage of Scottish football in recent times. Indeed, back in March earlier this year, Radio and TV Presenter Ewen Cameron said the broadcaster ‘lacks respect’ and simply ‘don’t care’.
McGinlay was certainly left feeling in a similar way after the most recent events but the actual Celtic players may not be too concerned by all that.

Interesting first question, how many Celtic fans were inside Ibrox?

Regardless, they should be delighted as that hard-fought win over Ross County now means they are six points above rivals Rangers in the league having both played 34 games.
As we enter the final stages of the season, it looks like they Bhoys may well have done enough to secure the title this time around.
