Everton fans will be in love with the latest behind-the-scenes footage to emerge out of Goodison Park.

The Toffees will kick-off against Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon after their relegation rivals Burnley travel to face 19th-placed Watford, so Lampard’s side will know what the situation is and how vital three points could be.

Are you confident Everton will stay up?

Lampard will know that if he doesn’t manage to keep Everton in the top flight, it will be on his CV forever that he was the first manager to ever take the Toffees out of the Premier League, so it’s no surprise to see him doing everything he can to ensure he is personally in the best possible place to not let that happen.

Footage has emerged via journalist Peter Smith of Lampard putting the work in on the Goodison Park pitch doing shuttle runs, so he’s certainly leading by example and setting the standard for the bare minimum he will expect from the Everton players.

Which of these Serie A stars did the Toffees miss out on?

If this is the sort of thing Lampard is putting himself through, it will surely have Evertonians happy and feeling confident that he will be ensuring the players will be having to work even harder than their own manager.

Lampard has never been involved in a relegation battle as a manager, previously managing at the top of the Premier League and Championship with Chelsea and Derby County respectively. However, he’s clearly fully bought into Everton and is pulling out all the stops by spending extra time such as in this video at Goodison Park to show how committed he truly is.
