Phil Hay has been speaking about one change he expects to see in the Leeds United starting lineup this weekend.

Leeds United were rather poor and toothless on Monday night against Crystal Palace, finishing the game with an xG of 0.4 as they picked up a point and kept themselves far enough away from the bottom three to not have to overly panic just yet, but that could soon change with some tough fixtures coming up.

Can Leeds cause an upset vs Man City?

The Whites welcome Manchester City to Elland Road this weekend in a game that their opponents can ill afford to drop points in given their place at the top of the Premier League, so it will surely be a very tough afternoon for Jesse Marsch’s men.

Hay revealed on The Phil Hay Show the one change he expects Marsch to make when the Leeds United lineup is announced, with a potential spot in the midfield up for grabs.

He said: “I suspect Robin Koch [will start], I think, on the basis of that sub on Monday night, but I still kind of feel like the answer to that would be Forshaw.”

TIF Thoughts on Koch replacing Klich…

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?

Mateusz Klich was hooked off by Marsch at half-time on Monday night and was replaced by German international Robin Koch. This came after the midfielder was captured having a heated discussion with Marsch, which seemingly left the manager confused as he shrugged his shoulders.

Koch is a player that can play as either a central midfielder or in the heart of defence, so if he was to replace Klich, that would point toward Marsch opting for a much more defensive lineup – something that may well be expected by many fans given the opposition this weekend.
