Alasdair Gold has blasted Dejan Kulusevski for his latest Tottenham Hotspur performance.

For the second game in a row, Tottenham Hotspur failed to not only find the back of the net, but they were also unable to even register a single shot on target, something that has put huge dents in their top-four ambitions.

Would you like to sign Kulusevski permanently?

The 0-0 result away against Brentford looked even worse considering that Spurs’ main top-four rival, Arsenal, managed to record an emphatic 3-1 victory at home to Manchester United, putting them two points above Tottenham in the league table, having played the same number of games.

While Spurs were poor in general against Brentford, Gold has picked out January signing Kulusevski for specific criticism handing the attacker a 4/10 in his player ratings and saying ‘Another anonymous match, barely causing a problem for Brentford.’

How well do you know where these Spurs signings came from? Take our quiz to find out! Firstly, where did Dimitar Berbatov arrive from?

The Sweden international has been a success since arriving on loan from Juventus registering nine goal involvements in his first 11 matches, however, he hasn’t got an assist or scored a goal in back to back games, showing that his purple patch is coming to an end with Gold claiming it was ‘another anonymous match’ clearly pointing towards it not being a one-off poor display and he lost possession 14 times.

It appeared that Kulusevski could have been the missing part to the jigsaw that Antonio Conte needed when it came to taking some pressure off of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, but if that early promise was just a flash in the pan, then they may think twice before making his loan move a permanent one.
