Sky Sports presenter Adam Smith was left blown away by footage of the Wolverhampton Wanderers players to emerge on Twitter.

The video in question was following the final whistle of their victory on the weekend against Everton as Bruno Lage’s men climbed up to seventh spot in the table.

Can Wolves make the Europa League?

Yes

Yes

No

No

And it showed a large number of the Wolves players taking time to speak to a young fan who is suffering through an illness with Conor Coady at the forefront.

Four of the Wolves players were seen giving the youngster their shirts with Conor Coady then taking a chunk of time to talk to the child and his father after the game.

Lage’s men were able to seal all three points at Goodison Park to strengthen their European hopes but it was apparent the actions after the game impressed the Sky Sports man more:

“Confirmation once again that Conor Coady really is the best of the best! Nicest guy in football! LOVE THIS,” Smith tweeted.

TIF Thoughts on Smith’s comments…

We have to agree with Smith on this one. This video shows the human side to the likes of Coady who went above and beyond to make the child’s day.

It appeared even the Wolves manager, Lage, also got involved after the game as he was shown on the Wolves Twitter account to have spent some time with the child.

And we are sure spirits will have been high in the away dressing room after the game with the Wanderers moving a point clear of Tottenham Hotspur in the pursuit of European football.
