West Ham Fan TV’s Dan Lawless is fuming on Twitter after David Moyes’ latest comments regarding West Ham’s Said Benrahma.
West Ham picked up a crucial win against an in-form Aston Villa side on the weekend which saw Said Benrahma register two assists that were his first goal involvements since January 1st such has been his poor form in front of goal.
Has Benrahma been a flop at West Ham?
Yes!
No!
When the Hammers drew against relegation-threatened Newcastle United at the London Stadium last month Benrahma was hooked off by David Moyes, with the pair exchanging words and their relationship doesn’t appear to be getting any better.
This is because despite Benrahma assisting both of the goals on Sunday Moyes was still not impressed as he told the media that the Algerian is in the side to assist goals and that he was also really poor in other areas, much to the annoyance of Lawless who tweeted ‘Why doesn’t Moyes give the same energy to other players?’
Why doesn't Moyes give the same energy to other players? Soucek, Antonio, Fornals all have been on bad runs yet don't get called out by the manager. Never seen him use the word poor in relation to those players. I can't respect that. https://t.co/VbHYQShgSk

TIF Thoughts on Moyes’ comments…
It is quite bizarre that Moyes would feel the need to dig out Benrahma for his performance despite being the player to have created both goals in their win, especially now as Benrahma may become even more important for the Hammers with both Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen out injured.
It hasn’t been the dream move that Benrahma will have hoped for when he signed for West Ham in 2020 registering just nine goals and 13 assists across 69 games, but this season has been a significant improvement not just in his goal output but the confidence he’s clearly showing having already carried the ball into the final third already more times than last season (FBRef).
