Fabio Paratici is unlikely to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer amid links suggesting he has gained interest from elsewhere.

That is according to the reliable Spurs journalist Alasdair Gold who was addressing the latest rumours surrounding Paratici to emerge.

Reports from Italy have suggested Paris Saint-Germain are looking at Tottenham’s director of football as their potential replacement for Leonardo.

Paratici joined Spurs last summer and has already seen two new managers arrive at Spurs and seven new players signed over the summer and January window.

Spurs are in danger of finishing even worse off than they did last season with their seventh-placed finish, however, Gold believes the north Londoners would fight to keep Paratici at the club:

(53:00) “I mean, obviously, there have been links with Paratici going to PSG. Or at least, them being interested in taking him.

“I’d be surprised this quick into a new challenge of what he’s spoken about as being such a long-term challenge. And he’s not a guy, to be fair to him, who has, you know, just shifted jobs. He was at Juventus for 11 years, and I think he was at Sampdoria for quite a little while before that as well.”

TIF Thoughts on Paratici’s future…

Since the claims have emerged, further reports have surfaced from England suggesting Paratici is expected to remain with the north London club this summer.

There have been some questionable decisions made by the Italian already from the summer transfer window with Emerson Royal not impressing and Bryan Gil already sent out on loan in January.

With Conte already seemingly demanding a big summer transfer window in north London, we will be interested to see who the Italian can convince to join a currently struggling Spurs side.
