TIF thoughts on Giorgos Giakoumakis and Celtic…

Having signed from Dutch second division side VVV-Venlo in a deal reported to be in the region of £2.5m during the summer, Giakoumakis’ recent displays have been proving his value.

Indeed, his double in the Scottish Cup is not the first time he had made headlines in the past month or so, as he also scored a hattrick in the league in February.

He now has nine goals to his name in his debut campaign. Judging from this latest post, it seems as though he appreciates the support the fans have given him and his teammates along the way.
