Ruben Neves has sent a message to former Wolves star Diogo Jota after his latest goal.
Jota was certainly a great servant for Wolves during his three seasons with the club but was eventually prised away by the bright lights and potential of winning a lot of silverware at Liverpool who shelled out £40 million for the winger.

After 31 goals and four assists in just 68 games, that price tag is looking to be a major bargain that Liverpool have paid for Jota, but given the role he played alongside Raul Jimenez and Wolves’ European qualification season, Jota will still be admired by the fans and clearly his teammates as well.
His fellow countrymen and star performer this season, Ruben Neves, has praised the winger after the score yet again for Liverpool on Wednesday, simply commenting on an Instagram post ‘Diogoal.’
TIF Thoughts on Wolves after Jota…
While it was a major blow for Wolves when Jota departed for Liverpool having just netted 15 goals in the last two seasons before he departed, they appear to have replaced him well with a younger Portuguese winger in the form of Pedro Neto who is just coming off the back of a serious injury.
Jota has gone on to achieve a lot of great things at Liverpool including recently lifting the league cup and despite leaving Wolves in 2020, his ability and character is still very strong within the squad, especially the Portuguese contingent with Neves praising him for scoring a goal against a side pushing for the same top four goal as Wolves.
