Footage of Tyler Roberts performing in training has surfaced and will surely excite Leeds United fans.

Roberts was someone that was seemingly always liked by former manager Marcelo Bielsa, as he featured 49 times since the start of last season – but not enough to start consistently, with a lot of his time on the pitch coming off the bench, but that could be about to change under Jesse Marsch.

Will Marsch keep Leeds in the Premier League?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

This is because during one of Marsch’s first training sessions with the Leeds squad has seen Tyler Roberts play in a well-drilled ball into the box for a teammate to smash into the roof of the net, potentially signalling that he could be a different player under the new boss.

Roberts still has age on his side being just 23 years old and if Marsch can unlock his potential then he could turn into a star for Leeds and one that they need in their immediate fight against the drop.

TIF Thoughts on Roberts…

This was a low point in Leeds United's history, but how many points did they get in the 2003/04 campaign?

The Wales international has scored just a single league goal this campaign despite having featured 22 times, which has seen his growth and development certainly halt, but if Marsch can get him putting in balls as he did in training, then those attacking returns will only increase.

Someone that was signed recently and seemingly trusted more by Bielsa is Daniel James, but their new manager will have no preconceptions of this group of players so everyone will have a fair crack of the whip, which will only be good news for Roberts, who was appearing to lose his way slightly at Elland Road with two goals since the start of last season.
