Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Ruben Neves has taken to Instagram to respond to a post from his now-former teammate, Adama Traore.

The Spanish winger was at the centre of a lot of transfer speculation over the January transfer window, with his time at Molineux eventually coming to a close.

Will Wolves miss Traore?

He got his move away to Barcelona despite the heavy interest which was reportedly coming from Tottenham Hotspur following their summer interest.

The Spaniard has returned to his former club, Barca, on an initial loan deal until the end of the campaign, with the option for the La Liga side to make his stay permanent for £29m.

Neves commented on Traore’s latest Instagram post of the 26-year-old during his unveiling at Camp Nou, with the Wolves midfielder commenting with two heart eyes emojis.

The pair played together for the Wanderers for just under four years after Traore made the move from Middlesbrough back in 2018.

With Traore leaving the Midlands club last month, Wolves acted on his expected departure by acquiring 21-year-old winger Chiquinho from Estoril.

And fans may get their first chance to see their new winger on the weekend as they take to the field against Norwich City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

As for Neves, it is clear he is fully behind Traore’s switch to the La Liga giants, and wishing him all the best for the remainder of the season.
