Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has dropped a big hint on Instagram over the fitness of Son Heung-min ahead of their FA Cup clash on the weekend.

The South Korean winger has been out of action for a number of weeks now having sustained a muscle strain in their Carabao Cup clash against Chelsea in January.

Do you expect Son to start on Saturday?

However, Hojbjerg has posted an image on Tuesday of himself in training alongside the 29-year-old winger to his Instagram story.

Spurs return to action following the two-week break with a clash in north London against Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup.

And it seems Antonio Conte may have his South Korean star back in contention to choose on Saturday night as Spurs aim to progress in the competition having not lifted the FA Cup since 1991.

The top-four race remains on for Spurs, however, the Lilywhites were unable to provide Conte with the backup striker he wanted in the transfer market to offer Harry Kane with some support.

Kane has shown signs of a return to form recently, however, the return of Son will be welcomed with the 29-year-old topping Tottenham’s goalscoring tally in the Premier League.

And a game against a side which Son has struggled in front of goal in the past, Saturday’s clash against Brighton could be the perfect opportunity for the winger to return ahead of their Premier League game next Wednesday.
