Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a claim on the future of loanee goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini amid the January transfer window.

The Italian joined the Lilywhites during last summer’s window, however, reports in Italy (via Calcio Atalanta) now suggest the north Londoners could be set to cancel his season-long loan.

Should Spurs terminate Gollini's loan?

No

It has been a difficult 2021/22 campaign for the 26-year-old, who has only featured eight times across the cup competitions, during which he has only kept two clean sheets (via Transfermarkt).

It is believed Tottenham have an option to buy Gollini at the end of his loan, however, these fans have clearly not been impressed with the Italian shot-stopper.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Ouch.”

“Paratici had an absolute stinker”
“SIUUUUU”
“Excellent”
“YES PLEASE DOOOOO”
“Oh yeah it’s all coming together”

Gollini’s cause has not been helped by Lloris’ excellent form in the 2021/22 campaign, which has seen him keep five clean sheets in his last eight league games (via Transfermarkt).

Amid reports linking Spurs to the likes of Dean Henderson and Jordan Pickford, it is apparent these fans are unlikely to be convinced by Gollini, who has made just one appearance under Antonio Conte.

  • Tony Borg says:

The signings Paratici made in the summer were terrible, the only one that comes close to being a good signing was Romero, I do think he’ll end up being a good signing for us. The trouble here is, one out of five is a really bad return and If he keeps up with this kind of record, he won’t be in a job long.

  • Tony Borg says:

Sell all the players he signed in the summer apart from Romero, that’s how good Paratici is. The guy couldn’t pick his nose, let alone a quality player.
