Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to comments that have emerged from one of their targets in Paulo Dybala.

The Argentinian is someone that has been on Spurs’ radar for some time, with the club reportedly deep in the process of signing him back in 2019, only for negotiations to fall apart late on.

It is thought the club remain interested in him, with reports from Spain claiming that Antonio Conte has asked Spurs “to do everything possible to get his contract in the next summer market”.

And it looks as if a door may have been opened for Spurs to make a good run at him in the summer. Speaking to DAZN (via Fabrizio Romano), Dybala spoke about his current contract, which expires in the summer, and how the club will reportedly wait until March to decide his future, saying:

“I’ve nothing to prove to anyone [to sign a new deal with Juventus]. The club has decided to talk with me in February or March. I’m here available for the manager.”

These comments were picked up by Football.London and then relayed by Tottenham Hotspur – Football.London on Facebook for fans to react to, where it generated some interesting responses:

Given his impressive goal record and Tottenham’s need to sign a backup option for Harry Kane, it seems like a match made in heaven, but whether or not Dybala will end up making the move in time is a different matter entirely.

Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis just don’t want to spend any money, that is the bottom line, any money spent in a transfer window is money wasted and lost from their profits. It’s always been the way and nothing will change while they are in charge. Winning any trophies are a million miles away with these two running the show.
Joe Lewis, Daniel Levy and ENIC OUT !! ASAP

  • Tony Borg says:

What we need and what Levy will do are two totally different things, every year we find ourselves in a decent position just for Levy to not back the manager to finish off the season, therefor we end up missing out. Levy not spending when he should has cost us a fortune over the 20 years he’s been in charge, and people think he’s a shrewd businessman, no he’s just a tight businessman. Spending money on players is eating into his and Lewis’ profits, that’s why they don’t spend, the sooner we force them out the better. Lewis, Levy and ENIC OUT !!! ASAP
