Many Leeds United fans have been left disappointed after hearing that no transfers are ‘imminent’ on the final day on the January transfer window.
As the deadline for the winter window edges ever closer, plenty of Leeds supporters would have been hoping for a last-minute deal to get them excited.
Indeed, the likes of Brenden Aaronson and Takumi Minamino have both been linked with possible moves to the club in the final stages of the market.
However, according to Daily Mirror journalist David Anderson, it will be a ‘quiet day’ for the West Yorkshire club, with even the possible departure of Crysencio Summerville looking unlikely.

He took to Twitter to explain, saying: “Looking like being a quiet day at Leeds unless Victor Orta can pull a rabbit out of the hat. Nothing imminent. Crysencio Summerville in demand, but Leeds will only let him leave on loan if they can sign a replacement first and time is running out.”
Upon seeing the latest, many supporters seemed to be rather upset.

“Huge, huge gamble. Newcastle have new players, Watford have a proven Manager coming in, Burnley have replaced Wood. If we don’t get Phillips, Bamford and Forshaw fit, this will be borderline negligent.”
“Pathetic.”
As evidenced by the tweets above, these fans certainly would have liked to have heard an update that suggested a little more drama and excitement was in store.
In the end, though, if Anderson’s claim is true, it looks as though the only senior player to be involved in a move with Leeds this winter is Cody Drameh, who joined Cardiff City on loan.
