A collection of West Bromwich Albion fans have been left rather upset after hearing that loan striker Jordan Hugill will likely stay at their club this winter.
With the January transfer market now open, the opportunity remains for players to both join and leave different teams. However, the Baggies forward is one player who looks set to stay where he is.
Indeed, the Express and Star has recently reported that his parent club, Norwich City, have no intention of calling the player back, and want him to stay and ‘fight for his place’ at The Hawthorns.
Will you be sad if Jordan Hugill leaves West Brom?
Yes
No
The news was shared online by WBA Report and it had a number of disappointed supporters making their feelings known.
Here’s what these WBA fans had to say…
It was recently announced that key striker and January signing Daryl Dike is set to miss as many as 11 games as he will be ruled out until around March with a hamstring problem.
With that in mind, West Brom may be grateful to have an extra attacking option. However, these fans clearly do not think Hugill is good enough to provide the quality needed in that position.
