Plenty of West Bromwich Albion fans have reacted to the news that their club are interested in signing defender Connor Goldson in the near future.
Indeed, according to a report in The Scottish Sun, the Baggies and Nottingham Forest will go head to head as they battle it out for the Rangers man’s signature when his contract expires in the summer.
The report explains that those two Championship clubs have emerged as favourites to make a move for the 29-year-old and they are both now free to discuss potentially contracts with him.

Taking that into account, it’s clear to see why some West Brom fans seem pretty happy about the idea of signing him for free in the summer. With their side pushing for promotion from the Championship, perhaps he’ll be playing Premier League football next season.
