Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their delight at the latest transfer claim to emerge regarding their midfielder Harry Winks.
According to journalist The Telegraph, the 25-year-old is a player being discussed by the board at Newcastle United as a possible target for the January transfer window.

This news comes after a summer transfer window where speculation surrounded the midfielder over a potential departure with Everton and Aston Villa said to be interested.
There is still over two years remaining on Winks’ deal with the Lilywhites and these fans took to Twitter to voice their hopes of seeing the midfielder leave before the end of his contract.

Winks came through the ranks at Spurs, however, over recent seasons he has seen his time on the pitch reduced with the majority of the 2020/21 league campaign seeing Winks watch on from the bench.
Given Winks has just four Premier League appearances to his name for this season, it is not surprising these fans wouldn’t be against seeing him sold in the summer to potentially make room for a new midfielder.
