A collection of Celtic fans have been left fearing the worst after hearing their club will be playing FK Bodo/Glimt in the next round of the Europa Conference League.
Indeed, as confirmed by the club’s website, the Bhoys will face the Norwegian champions across two legs in February after the draw took place Nyon, Switzerland at the start of this week.
The Scottish outfit were in the Europa League, but after finishing third in their group, they now drop into the new Europa Conference League, where they will hope to fare better.
The information was shared online by the official Celtic Twitter page and it had some pessimistic supporters expressing their concerns over the draw.
Here’s what these Celtic fans said…
Although Bodo/Glimt might not be a name all football fans are familiar with, they did cause a big stir earlier on in the season when they defeated Jose Mourinho’s Roma side 6-1 in the Europa Conference League group stages.
Taking that into account, perhaps these fans are wise to have some fears about their upcoming European opponents. On top of that, they have also won the Norwegian league back-to-back, proving their quality on a consistent basis.
Will Celtic beat Bodo/Glimt in Europe?
